2016 Central Ohio Homeless Veterans Stand Down
You Helped Homeless and Needy Local Veterans Over the Years
|Homeless and needy veterans should never be in need of basic necessities, but when they find themselves in that state, there are other veterans, citizens, and supportive organizations who step in to “give a hand up, not a hand down”. Your membership in the Central Ohio Chapter of MOAA again stepped in to assist through the 22nd Central Ohio Stand Down. Through this collaborative and focused effort, the needs of over 519 were addressed. Pete Wilkinson of the Chapter was the year-long liaison on the organizing committee with other organizations, and a volunteer at the event. Other chapter volunteers assisted. Thank you to all who gave of their time, talents, and donations.|
